If you decide to take this diving course, you will be transferred from your pick up point to the dive center at approx. 0930 where you will be handed a PADI Discover Scuba Diver Manual which included all the required paperwork, theory and a certification verifying you have completed the course.
After completion of the paperwork, there is a short DVD to watch which explains the basic principles of scuba diving, the equipment, some underwater hand signals and basic diving skills. Once you are all suited up, your scuba unit will have already been prepared for you to continue on your instruction in the swimming pool for the skills.
When your instructor is satisfied with your performance and your comfort level being underwater, you will then move on to your actual diving experience in the sea which is only a few meters away. Your dive there will be at maximum dive depth of 12 meters for 30-45 minutes. (Instructor per student ratio is 3:1)
You will be transferred from your pick up point to the dive center arriving around 9.30. After completing the required paperwork, you will be suited for your dive suit, (masks, fins and the second dive tanks will already be on the boat), have a briefing with your dive guide, check your equipment and load it into one of our RHIBs (Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat).
There is a 20 – 25 minute boat ride to the selected dive sites. In between the two dives, you will visit a local Taverna at a small fishing town where you will have a light snack. Once you complete your second dive, you return to the dive center where you will be transferred back to your pick up point.
